According to the official announcement, "the iPhone 4 antenna attenuation issue is even smaller than we originally thought." So no more free cases for everyone, though Apple will provide a free bumper case to users who contact Apple Care with proof that their phone has antenna problems requiring a case. Additionally, the announcement states that Apple's original iPhone return policy will go into effect beginning Oct. 1, which means that users returning their iPhone 4s will have to pay the original restocking fee that was temporarily lifted from iPhone returns.
