Do You Still Use Gadgets While You Drive?

A recent report shows that in the US, up to texting apps available for download that will help you stay away from your smartphone while on the road, but with these kinds of stats it seems that most drivers would just rather ignore the law altogether.

The only time I use my phone when driving is as a GPS and I have a window mount for it (so it acts like a regular GPS). Occasionally I'll check texts when I'm at a long red light, but only if it's REALLY important. Not only have I almost been run over several times by people not paying attention because they were texting and driving, and nearly gotten hurt by people on their phones, but the fines are heavy around here for doing it. I consider it extremely inconsiderate and dangerous. Whatever I'm doing can wait, it's not worth risking a paycheck over (or worse: Someone's life!).
