Google+'s New Cover Photos Are Large and in Charge

Google Plus introduced giant cover photos today, along with several other features intended to make the social network (literally) bigger and better.

The skinny Facebook Timeline-esque panoramas are no more — the new full-size photos occupy nearly half the screen.

The cover photos aren't the only changes on Google Plus. The About tab is redesigned, and a brand-new feature is Reviews, which compiles all of your restaurant and point of interest reviews from Google Local (assuming that you actually use Google Local instead of other recommendation engines like Yelp).

The new Google Plus improvements are still rolling out to users, so you may not see the profile updates just yet. But until then, you can look at Google+'s new large and in charge cover photo, plus the redesigned About page and Reviews tab, right here.
