While having one Google Voice number that rings on all of your phones is convenient, there are still times you just can't make it to the phone. Now, Google is making it easier to view calls you may have missed. Starting late last week, Google Voice introduced a new feature that will
deliver missed calls directly to your Gmail inbox. You'll also see the missed call in your Google Voice inbox.
You can also opt out of any of these notifications — if you're a serial call-misser, you may not want a bunch of Google Voice emails clogging up your inbox. But I can see this service being especially helpful if you're away from your phone but near the computer for most of the day, or if you accidentally, annoyingly leave your phone at home. The notification provides the caller's number and time of the missed call.
