Whether you're hosting an election-night party or just you need something to watch as you await the results of the election, you can watch live results online and for free. YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook are each hosting live streams of the results from various media networks — and since a national election affects everyone in a major way, the networks themselves are also hosting free live streams of their coverage.

Depending on your pundits of choice, you can keep tabs on results as they roll in with live streams from CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC; most of these streams will continue without a cable login until early Wednesday morning.

On YouTube, you can watch live streams starting at 7 p.m. EST from:

If you enjoy reading Twitter commentary, you can watch Twitter's live stream in partnership with BuzzFeed News starting at 6 p.m. EST. Do you prefer Facebook's live streams instead? Watch a live stream on POPSUGAR starting at 7:30 p.m. EST, or ABC News, PBS NewsHour, or CNN starting at 8 p.m. EST.

Most importantly, each of these are free to view and require no cable login! So either watch the election results tonight or de-stress from it instead.
