How to Reclaim Your Privacy on Facebook

Facebook's recent privacy changes have been top of mind for weeks now, and while some users have vowed to quit the service, others are retooling their privacy settings to ensure that no data is mistakenly shared. Now, ReclaimPrivacy.org is aiming to help users change their own settings so that no information is at risk.

To triple-check your Facebook privacy settings, drag the "Scan For Privacy" toolbar into your browser's favorites. Then, log into Facebook and click the bookmark. A pop-up will display which areas of your page are secure and which could present privacy issues. If any issues are detected, the scanner provides a direct link to change your settings, ensuring that all information you want to keep private stays private.
