If you're one of the first million users to download the Roc Nation maestro's Android app, Jay-Z Magna Carta (free), the new record will be delivered to your Galaxy device on July 4, three days before its worldwide release. Galaxy S4, Galaxy SIII, and Galaxy Note II phones are compatible with the Jay-Z's new download, which requires Android 3.0 and up.
Once you've downloaded the app (see it in action via Instagram video), a Facebook or Twitter account is required to sign in. If the app shows album download date and time information, you are one of the first million to grab the app, and you'll get Magna Carta Holy Grail for free. Before the album drops, bide your time with app extras like behind-the-scenes footage from the studio and images from the record's production.
Galaxy-ers, did you download Jay-Z Magna Carta? iPhone users, do you feel abandoned? What do you think of this Samsung/artist marketing integration? Let us know your thoughts on Mr. Carter's new Android offering.
