If you thought kids' responses to Walkmans was bad (it was), prepare yourself for this. In the latest part of a video series called "Kids React to Technology," a bunch of youngins sit in front of an Apple computer from the 1970s and are shocked — SHOCKED! — that such a thing ever existed. It looks like a boxy TV, they say. "Hello!" shouts one kid while tapping the monitor.
Another girl goes on and on about how today's computers have games and apps and websites, but this thing . . . it's got nothing. And the worst part comes when they find out there's no mouse, that they have to use this alien thing called a floppy disk, and that there was no Internet back then, so kids had to do homework by going to the library (the horror!).
"It's very hipster," says a kid, and while we're still trying to figure out what that even means, another boy pretty much sums up all the reactions by saying, "You guys are crazy."
