Knitted Power Cord: Love It or Leave It?

When I first saw this Knitted Power Cord ($25), I thought it was a fabulously crafty way to hide my tangle of cords at home, which I am always hunting for a solution to, but alas, this is more fashion than function.

The seller suggests you wear it as a skinny scarf or a belt (which I actually don't hate the idea of), but I was also thinking of using it as a particularly geeky curtain tieback.

What do you think of it? Do you have enough power cords in your life, or do you welcome this homage to electricity?

It's kind of cute in a way... but I do have enough power cords in my life.

Wasn't there an episode of the Simpsons, where Jimbo or Nelson used a cord for a belt? Whatever works!! :)

I hate knitted everything... I wouldn't buy stuff that isn't even supposed to be knitted. Weird.

I love this. I think it adds a cute element of geeky surprise to an outfit. I can see myself tying my hair back (headband style) with this.
