The show "Hey Mikey" that LauraPalmer posted about is called "The Fuccons" here in the U.S. It's characters are mannequins... Japan, at least, is a lot more obsessive over characters/idols than America, which goes for a more showcase-y marketing technique.

shini, I am sorry, I have nothing against Korean people or country, its just the products don't meet with my personal taste in quality and design. I am so sorry if I offend you or anyone.

I like the Korean ad way more. The American version is so stright and boring. And I can not stand the Mac or PC ads, they really, really get to me...smug is the right word.

Weird commercial content, I guess its different for someone that understands what it says there. Performita, if Koreans sold terrible products, then I don't know why Samsung is listed and known as one of top quality electronics makers. Not the best thing to say if you don't know if there are Koreans in Sugar community.

I like it. it's different and catches your eye. i would for sure pay more attention to that ad than just a normal plain cell phone ad. plus, with a little american touch, i'm sure it could work out here.

Would never buy LG or Samsung. I just don't believe in quality of Korean companies and I don't like their design at all... Its not as I did not try, I run computer and electronic shop and I can tell you Koreans sell us terrible products. I will stick with Japanese, European an US products :)

The pictures look a little odd. But humour does sell stuff.
