I use Photoshop every day — but I have a pretty strong suspicion that I'm not using it to its full potential. There are still a ton of functions I'm not completely comfortable with, but I just discovered a set of awesome online videos explaining how to perform a plethora of functions in the photo editing suite.
The web series Photoshop Killer Tips hosted by Matt Kloskowski explains everything from the difference between hard and soft brush edges to how to best navigate through layers of an image. Each video is quick but thorough and provides a detailed view of exactly how to achieve the desired result. There are pages and pages of episodes dating back to 2006 — it's very easy to get lost looking through all of them. There's a great mix of practical tips and tricks you may not have thought of to enhance your photos.
In honor of National Photography Month, I'm serving up a different photography tip, trick, or app every weekday in May, so please share your successful shots! Our Cool Capture group is not only a place to post your favorite pics, but you could also win a CanvasPop Print in our Cool Capture contest!
