At $12, they're a lovely and affordable back-to-school gift item or just a way to prettify your otherwise high-tech office space.
Anthropologie is hardly a beacon of technological finds — its soothing, traditional offerings are often anything but. But occasionally it'll throw us geeks a bone; after all, it does carry the gorgeous Vivienne Tam HP netbook as well as other goodies like rustic record players and funky, well-crafted speakers. It's also carrying my new favorite mousepad: the Alphacritter Mousepad by designer Alexa Pulitzer. Each mousepad is actually a 50-page notepad featuring a monogram and darling animal illustration of a critter matching that letter (I'm partial to the giraffe, myself).
