Motorola's bright, shiny, brand-new Droid 2 has barely begun to ship, but already early reports of connectivity problems are beginning to surface. Since it's still early, the reports haven't reached Antennagate proportions, but most review Droid 2 units have been experiencing extreme bar count fluctuations, leading to signal problems.
As we've seen with the iPhone 4, new smartphones are certainly susceptible to all sorts of problems, with reception and signal strength at the top of the list. If there does end up to be a problem with the device's reception, it will hopefully be easily fixed with a software patch. No word from either Verizon or Motorola on a potential problem or solution yet, so stay tuned for updates.
