Motorola Droid Pro Revealed

Business in the Front: Motorola Droid Pro Revealed

Adding to the growing number of Android phones on the market, the Motorola Droid Pro has been revealed, and looks like an interesting Android/BlackBerry hybrid. Coming with full support for Exchange and Gmail, corporate-level security features, live streaming email widgets, and a full physical keyboard (that doesn't flip or slide out), it's unlike any other Droid-branded phone on the market, and is touted to be totally ready to get down to business.

Other, less business-y features coming with the Droid Pro include Android 2.2, a quick 1Ghz processor, 3.1-inch display, Flash 10.1, a 5MP camera with dual LED flash, and will have global roaming support in over 220 countries. Interestingly enough, there's only 4GB of total storage space on this baby (2GB built-in with 2GB of removable according to the press release), which is a fraction of what comes with other Droid models. I guess business types don't have time to store music and movies on their phones, eh? Verizon has said that the smartphone will be available online and in stores "in the coming weeks," but to stay tuned for pricing details.
