New iPod Commercials: Less Infectious, Same Product

I don't know if it was the giant colorful iPod ads that were plastered all over downtown San Francisco, or the fact that every time I walked into the Apple store the commercials penetrated into my unconsciousness, but the last few iPod ads used to play on loop in my mind. The company has released a new edition and I must say, it's a lot less memorable.

This new edition features the song "Love Train" by Wolfmother and while the colors are just as bright, the tune hasn't quite seeped into my unconscious in the same way. It's no "Someday Baby." What's your favorite iPod commercial song and why? Let me know in the comments below.

I'm going way back to the Black Eyed Peas "Hey Mama" commercial. I think that one launched the Black Eyed Peas into the mainstream.

I'm partial to the commercials with "Walkie Talkie Man" by Steriogram and "Jerk it Out" by the Caesers. Those two were stuck in my head For-Ev-Er.

I'm not sure it sort of works but I love the actual video. Maybe something 'groovier' would've worked? As for my faves, the nano one with neon lights is pretty cool, I really like the Daft Punk 'Technologic one too. Oh and the breakdance one. Lol, I probably like them all.
