Popular Internet radio company Pandora is celebrating its fifth year of public availability this week and is still going strong! The service, which creates Internet-based "radio" stations based around listeners' favorite bands and songs is adding a new way to discover music: genre-based stations.
Check out all the details when you read on.
Pandora fans will now be able to listen to their favorite music via genre-based stations like "Today's Country" and "Today's Hip Hop and Pop Hits." The new stations will feature the same functionality Pandora users already enjoy: skipping up to five songs per hour, giving individual tracks a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down," and the ability to further customize stations based on song and artist preference. You can see the full list of genres on Pandora's genre page, grouped conveniently by category.
