Periodic Rings: Love It or Leave It?

Geek jewelry isn't just about binary code and recycled computer cables. A husband-and-wife design team have created ITSNONAME, a line of science-inspired Periodic symbol rings that are halfway between classy and brassy. The "Ag Silver Periodic Ring" edition will set you back $205, while the Pt Platinum Periodic Ring is a whopping $6,500. Would you rock it?

I love it but it's definitely a guy's ring. and I'd rather pick my favorite element even if the ring isn't made out of that element. and it'd be fun to spell out my name in elements with every two letters on each finger :P

Well, I love them, especially the Au! I would so rock this--if I had thousands of dollars to throw away away.

The rings are too big, but if they made a pin or "charm", or maybe cuff links, I'd consider buying it. The element for gold is our last name, so it works!

I love the concept (being the science geek that I am) but they're so clunky that I would never buy it. If it was a little more girly, I'd be all over it!

Eh. It's not for me but if it was a bit smaller, I might rock the silver.

I could probably afford Fe but it might hurt my finger after awhile. I guess sign me up for Si. That's probably the best I can do.

wow thts interesting. i wonder what inspired them to come up with this. its expensive yet creative. in case people ask what its made of you could just tell 'em to take a closer look at your ring. lol. plus its got a bit of humor in it, at least in the way that i see it. yeah i'd rock it if i had the cash.

hate to admit it, but I think they're awesome. If I had lots of money, I'd definitely get one.
