It may have just missed National Photography Month, but now Google is allowing you to personalize your Google home screen with any photo you choose. Over the next few days, it will begin to roll out a feature allowing users to upload their own photos to use as the background on Google.com. You can choose any photo from your computer, your Picasa album, or a public Picasa gallery. And, you will still be able to easily switch between your new home screen and the classic, white version of Google.
This functionality will start to roll out to users over the next few days; just look for a link on the lower left side of the Google page. Once you upload a photo of your own, share it with Google by posting a screen shot to Twitter, tagged with #myGooglepage.
