Anyone who's obsessed with their dog or cat will do anything to make their life happier. For some owners, that means getting treats or a new toy. Others, however, might prefer getting new gadgets for their pets to keep them in shape — and to know where they are at all times. Ahead, you'll see our favorite gadgets for pets from this year's Consumer Electronics Show. We'll leave it up to you to decide if your pet will love them or not.

Poof

If you feel like your dog or cat is becoming too lazy, consider getting them Poof ($40-$50). The activity tracker comes in two different types: the pea, which uses a battery, and the bean, which can be charged. Both track your pet's calories, sleep, and activity to make sure they're staying fit and healthy. And if your pet goes missing but ends up near someone with the Poof app, they'll pop up and be able to keep them safe until you get them back.

Litter Robot

You might love and adore your cat but not feel the same way about their litter box. It's why Litter Robot ($449), a self-cleaning litter box, might be your dream come true. Once your cat is done using it, a timer will start until the litter "clumps" and is ready to be cleaned. The litter is then swept away into a drawer — out of sight and mind, until you receive an alert that the drawer is full.

Kyon

Kyon

Kyon ($249, preorder) is another pet tracker, but this one promises to understand your dog's feelings. It does so by monitoring a dog's activity levels with a "unique algorithm." For example, it might diagnose low activity levels as a sign of possible trouble in your dog. Kyon can also track your pet at all times for $5 a month, so if they ever get lost, you can locate them immediately. The collar is also an LED display that can show information if your dog is lost or say something like "I'm hot."

Catspad

Catspad

Feed your cat regularly with Catspad ($199, preorder). The large device can easily be adjusted to your cat's feeding routine, so you can set it to give more or less food. It also constantly runs and filters water, so that your cat is never without it. After not meeting its Indiegogo goal last year, the company raised the necessary funds on Kickstarter.

Link AKC

Link AKC ($149, originally $199, preorder) is a wearable tracking device for dogs. Similar to other pet gadgets, it can monitor a dog's activity and offer tips to keep it healthy. It also comes with GPS tracking and geo fencing, so if your dog leaves a certain area, you'll automatically get an alert. Training your dog? It also comes with a special sound and has a light on the collar.
