Phone Factory Reset Hassles

If You Had to Completely Reset Your Phone, What Would Upset You the Most?

Phone trouble happens all the time, but there are some situations that are far worse than others. A friend's iPhone completely refused to turn on recently, and after the initial freak-out of having no phone, she took it to the Genius Bar to be repaired. Luckily, her phone was salvageable, but only after a factory reset, which completely wipes out the phone's data and restores it to factory settings.

As long as your phone's data is backed up on your computer, much of it can be restored. But there are a few things that could prove tricky to recover. If something like this happened to you, what would upset you the most?

my texts aren't that important, all my media is on a memory card and my contacts are saved to my sim card. i had to re-install the os my blackberry a few months ago and the most annoying thing was having to re-install and configure my apps.

One time I accidentally deleted an entire text message thread from this guy I like... I was unbelievably pissed off. lol. Which reminds me, I should back up my phone...

I chose photos even though I back it up often not only on iTunes. I would have chosen contacts, but I recently switched to my Yahoo! contacts instead of having it on my phone. I don't have a lot of apps and I really don't care to save my text messages.

i don't have a phone with Verizon, so all my contacts are saved on my SIM...and i save everything to my memory card. if it dies, as long as i can remove those two pieces, i'm golden.
