SOPA Protest: List of Websites Going Dark

Major Sites You Won't Be Able to Visit During the Jan. 18 SOPA Protest Blackout

The Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) is on the minds of many since the bill was introduced into Congress late last year, and the numbers of those against the bill moving forward are rising. Not only has the president spoken out against the bill, but a number of major websites will be going dark on Wednesday for 12 hours or more to protest it. Check out the (growing) list below.

  • Wikipedia
  • I Can Has Cheezburger network
  • Reddit
  • Google
  • The Oatmeal
  • Wordpress
  • Tumblr
  • MoveOn.org
  • Mozilla
  • TwitPic
  • BoingBoing
  • Minecraft.net
  • Riot Games

These sites aren't 'blacking out'. They are 'mildly darking out'. Google changed a graphic- big fat deal. Wikipedia had a decent idea- but there are simple work arounds that everyone is using. A real blackout is me trying to log onto one of those sights and just seeing a 'Thank Congress for this' sort of sign. No functionality at all. Shock and Awe Congress into obeying the will of the people. Also, shame on Facebook for saying they'd go in and doing... nothing. Mark Zuckerberg proves to be a coward (or worse, traiter) again.

None of you seem to have a clue why your government is attempting one of the last moves of many they have perpetrated in the last 20 years... I can only tell you that you will not believe me, but if I did nothing about it, then I would not be doing my patriotic duty. goto www.dormantideas.com once the black out is over and you will cringe or remain an American comatose cattle. There is a reason why all the people in the United States who go against the Rothschild HORROR in the world are being assassinated one by one... wake up! Their last ditch effort is to shutout any resistance by keeping us from communicating... unless we are sheep and act as they like us to act. 2012, you will learn 2 expressions: BLOWBACK, and FALSE FLAG OPERATION (good luck). In one week my site will more than likely be shutdown by these bastards! and you will probably go oops! as I said you haven't a clue, pardon my expression... sheep! not insulting anyone, just trying to wake you up! MARTIAL LAW was just singed on the 31st of 2011 while you partied with champagne!!! NDAA Act is now in force... sheep are mostly safe, only patriots are at risk now!
