Stain Detector Light Takes The 'Ick' Out of Traveling

Stain Detector Light Takes The 'Ick' Out of Traveling

I've probably watched a thousand crime dramas where the super slick crime scene investigator whips out a shiny Stain Detector Light and the show's ick factor skyrockets. Of course, I've also considered how great it would be to scan hotel rooms with a stain light before putting my head on the pillow, but figured such gadgets were out of my price range. Not so!

The mini Stain Detector Light from Miles Kimball is just $6.99, and its ultraviolet light will reveal hidden stains instantly so you can eliminate them, and then sit around wondering where (and who) they came from. The Stain Detector Light features a flashlight function, on/off switch; includes stain removal guide. Runs on four AAA batteries.

That is super cool! I was always told to take the comforter off hotel beds because they are rarely washed and covered in germs among other things! Hotel rooms would be totally gross if you took that device!

Grossss! I want one. But then again, I'm a total germophobe. This thing might push me over the edge.

geeksugar - it sounds awesome... but being a bit of a germaphobe, i think i'd never be able to stay in a hotel room again!

Did you ever see that episode of Monk where he whipped one out and the whole hotel room was covered in stains? Yeah, couldn't handle it.
