You don't have to see the Stephen Hawking documentary to know the man's a legend. Often called the most famous living scientist, his theories on physics and cosmology have broken plenty of ground. But with that title comes plenty of — how shall we say it? — complicated material. It takes time to understand these things.
But how much time? As it turns out, 150 seconds. In a short animated video, the folks at The Guardian have managed to answer questions like, "What's at the center of a black hole?" and, "Why does a black hole shrink and explode?" with Hawking's ideas and tie them to the Big Bang Theory and the world as we know it.
Using bright colors, sound effects, and cute talking particles, even young'uns will be able to wrap their heads around this science. If anything, seeing Hawking fly off into space in his wheelchair is plenty of reason to watch all the way to the end.
