Studio Ghibli Just Brought an Ancient Japanese Manga to Life For This Amazing Commercial

Do you dream of Ponyo or Totoro? Then you'll love this new commercial for Marubeni Power company from Studio Ghibli, which brings to life the famous collection of Japanese picture scrolls, "Choju Jinbutsu Giga." It's believed to be the first manga in history. The 30-second animation depicts images of animals and people skipping through and sheltering each other in the rain. According to Anime News Network, the commercial was created for Marubeni's new power initiative, Plan G, in hopes of promoting environmental conservation in Japan.
