Found: A Wearable Light That's Unbelievably Stylish

Think of wearable lights, and you either picture glow-stick necklaces or a hokey light-up dresses. But you can forget all that, thanks to a stylish new gadget called Vega Edge. The small light was made for you to wear at night while you're walking or jogging — or heck, even partying at concerts — so you can stand out and make yourself visible. Safety first!

It was only last month that the product (a two-year brainchild of designer Angella Mackey and the Social Body Lab in Toronto) got funded via a Kickstarter campaign. The plan now is to start selling the Vega Edge on their website soon, sometime between May and August. As for the cost, expect to pay $90 and up. Source: Vega Edge

Vega Edge is available in two different shapes, both of which are equally as good-looking and come in either black or brown leather. The first is the Trapezoid design.

Wear it anywhere on your clothes (hoods, collars, pockets, wherever) or even on accessories like purses, belts, and scarves.

The second design is a rectangular shape called True. Like the Trapezoid, it comes with light options in white, red, green, and blue.

Even during the day with the lights turned off, it looks good, doesn't it?

How is it made, you ask? From laser-cut leather, that's how. Using four strong magnets, it snaps securely to your clothes and comes with a thin strip of retroreflective fabric for extra visibility. Oh, and the battery can last up to 20 hours.
