I loathe pink, and in my opinion it's partially what's wrong with how they market gadgets to women. It makes me feel like every gizmo producer around thinks women are shallow and superficial, and don't care if it fits our needs and lifestyle as long as it's sparkly and pretty.

sigh. no it's not genetic. 1800's and earlier pink was associated with males (red is a strong color) and blue was associated with girls (blue as in the sky, pure, tranquil). obviously our society has thus changed the meaning of the colors, so now we are socially conditioned to think girls have to like pink.

I have to say it's pretty interesting, and I'm a bit guilty/embarrassed since I absolutely adore pink gadgets. :P (Pink DS Lite, Micro, SP, flash drive, etc.) But genetic? Hmm.
