Tweet Deck Is a Free Adobe Air Download That Organizes Your Twitter Account and Followers

Geek Tip: Use Tweet Deck to Manage Twitter

If you're somewhat new to Twitter, it can be very overwhelming at first; let Tweet Deck come to your rescue. Tweet Deck is a free download for Mac OS X and Windows (it'll also install Adobe Air if you don't have it yet), and is the ultimate organizer.

You're presented with different columns for tweets, all @replies, and more, and you can create groups for people you're following, so they're separated out. Business friends in one, close buddies in another. You can also make columns for search categories — I have one set up for "geeksugar," so I can see when people tweet about geeksugar. Breathe a sigh of relief!

GeekSugar, you are awesome. You teach me more about computers and the technology I so totally fail at with such ease! Thank you so much! I shall be a loyal follower on Twitter as well. ;)

I'm on twitter overload. Really trying to find the right apps to organize everything. Anyone using EventBox? I can manage my twitter, facebook and RSS feeds. It does other stuff too like flickr. Now I need to find the time to design my twitter homepage with that site you posted last week. You need to do one of those slideshow posts where you gather all your twitter posts together.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE TweetDeck, but had to move to another tool (Twirl) to manage my multiple Twitter accounts. I hope they add to their service allowing for multiple accounts!
