The other day, I briefly mentioned how Google was rolling out task list functionality within Google Calendar. Today when I opened my GCal, what beautiful option appeared? It was a lovely task link for keeping my to-dos and calendar items in one spot. Now you have the ability to conveniently manage your to-dos in your Gmail account as well as in your Calendar — I guess this means I am one step closer to kissing Remember the Milk goodbye.
What's great about GCal Tasks is that you can enter items that have due dates, and they will automatically show up in your calendar. When a task is finished, you can click its check box and you can sort tasks by due date under the Actions menu at the bottom of the list. Tasks are draggable and droppable, just like items in your GCal.
