Just in time for the NBA Playoffs (if you're lucky enough to score tickets that is), I found a useful site that sports fans are going to love. Seats 3D is a partial listing of stadiums and arenas offering three-dimensional views of the venue from any seat in the house. This will come in handy when trying to figure out those last-minute tickets you scored off Craigslist will actually have the spectacular view the seller claimed they would. Choose your venue from listings of baseball stadiums, football arenas, race tracks, even a few Major League Soccer fields. Then search for your seat location either by seat and section number or by navigating the stands and click on the appropriate section. You'll get a 360 degree view from your exact seat.
It's cool to check out different views from around the venue, and it's also a smart way to check out stadiums or arenas you've never been to and prepare for the game. Sadly, it can't detect the really tall season ticket holder who might be sitting in front of you, or the obnoxious drunk guy who may be lounging behind you.
