Website of the Day: Newseum

Ever wish you could scroll through all the daily newspaper front pages? Yes you can! Head on over to Newseum, where you can peruse through front pages in their original, unedited form. And if you're looking for papers outside of the US, no problemo because Newseum offers a search section where you can browse by city, country, or by a map. Can you tell I'm extremely jazzed up about this site?

To learn how to post your favorite websites to our Website of the Day group,

I know that this long list looks scary, but trust me, once you get the hang of it, it'll be a snap the second time around.

  1. First of all, join the Website of the Day group.
  2. Click the pink "Share" menu on the top left side of the page.
  3. Choose "Blog" and “Regular Post.”
  4. Give your story a “Title.”
  5. Fill in the “Body” with a link to your favorite website and the reasons why you love it.
  6. Click “Next."
  7. Choose the audience for your story to “Website of the Day” in the drop-down menu
  8. Add keyword(s) (for example mine for this photo was "Website of the Day").
  9. Change channel to “Technology and Gadgets.”
  10. Fill in tag field with relevant tags.
  11. Click “I’m done” to submit content.

So join the Website of the Day group and share information about all your favorite sites! Yours just might end up on the geeksugar homepage!

I was so bummed when I didn't get to go to the grand opening of the Newseum- maybe on my next trip to DC. But I'm so glad you found the site, I didn't know you could actually browse through the museum online.

I loved the first headline there, from the Anniston Star, "In Our Lifetime." That was my favorite cover page. None of the rest really stood out to me.
