What Did You Get Your Mother For Mother's Day?

What Did You Get Your Mother For Mother's Day?

Happy Mother's Day! Sooo... do tell...how did you spoil your mom this year? Did you take some of my gift suggestions and surprise your mom with a new gadget? Maybe you sent her twenty free text messages from T-Mobile, or gave her the gift of gab thanks to Skype. From laptop bags and engraved iPods, to digital media players, headphones and digital photo frames, I'm curious to know what you gave (or what you received) this Mother's Day. Gifts or no gifts, I hope the sun is shining wherever you are and you are showering those who are close to you with lots of love!

I spent the entire day with her at home. I'm always out with friends and stay home probably two to three days a week so she was really happy that I stayed in with her.

My mom is not that tech savvy either. I had to teach her how to edit a number in her phone the other day. She asked for a birdhouse for Mother's Day. So, that's what we got her. We learned a long time ago to get her what she asks for and that makes her happy. It was a big hit!

This year for mother's day, I made my mom a DVD with pictures of my and my brothers and sisters and all of us as a family. I added this real sappy piano music and a border of pink roses on the slideshow. She loved it!!! Infact, she loved it so much she cried.

My mother isn't very technical minded. An iPod would be the last thing on her list. So, I got her what she enjoys most: lots of yummy gourmet coffee. A Kona blend, Jamaican blue, chocolate cherry flavor, and the store's rotating mystery blend (I suspect it's caramel).
