Traveling somewhere this holiday? If you're choosing to fly, you should head out a little earlier than usual — security lines are expected to be long, especially with the impending "National Opt-Out Day" on Nov. 24, which asks that fliers refuse the (sometimes revealing, but always controversial) full body scan and instead request a pat-down from a friendly TSA agent.
Why should you opt out? For one, you could win something. Find out more about the fun and lighthearted giveaway after the break.
Going through all this trouble of waiting in line, you might as well opt out of the scan as well, right? If you decide that yes, you will opt out, Loopt wants to reward your efforts. After you go through your security pat-down on Nov. 24, have a little fun by checking in to your airport on Loopt, then push your update to Twitter with a note about your experience and the hash tag #touchedbyTSA, and you could win one of 10 iPod Touches! Winners will be picked at random from the Twitter hash tag, so don't forget to add that to your tweet. Happy travels!
