This Is What Happens When Virtual Reality Gets a Little Too Real

Virtual reality is gradually taking over — but luckily for the woman in this video, a zombie apocalypse is not. A group of co-workers tested out a virtual reality zombie game called The Brookhaven Experiment, and as one woman freaked out, another captured her experience and posted it to Twitter. By "freak out," we mean she was so convinced by the realness of the computer-generated zombies that she was absolutely terrified. Apparently, the game is actually intended to scare people since it places them under a zombie attack with very little ammunition. Despite her horror, the woman in the virtual reality headset found out firsthand just how real virtual reality can seem. At least she only fought zombies, instead of finding out she could almost become one on a Snapchat filter.
