The iPad 2 is smaller and lighter than the first version, but you're definitely going to want to get a case for it. After using it consistently throughout the weekend, I can see many opportunities to drop, bump, dent, and smash it, especially if you're on the clumsy side. The optional accessories will come in handy for those who want to share videos edited on the new iMovie app, and for business-types who want to mirror their iPad presentations on larger LCD screens.
While I'm still trying to figure out if the iPad 2 is something I'd use and enjoy for a long period of time (or if I'd use it for a week then forget about it), it's pretty fun in the meantime. Look for my full review coming up this week!
