I would deffinetly vote for 125 lbs. At 5'7", that's pretty perfect. It's still thin, but healthy!

oh my god you girls are so tall!! every one of yall have been between like 5'6 and 5'9...i am 5'3!!! i wint the award for being the shortest so far!! anyways about the weight..i would say its not really about the number on the scale but about how you feel..because if you have alot of muscle you will weigh when you want to change something...try to change your BMI *You are what you eat from your head to your feet*

bottom line no one can tell yo with out looking at your body what is an ideal weight for you -- but you are in the lower end of the healthy range you sound slim-- i wouldn't worry aobut lsoing any weight.

I think it depends on what body type you have: Ectomorph - Definitive "Hard Gainer", Delicate Built Body, Flat Chest, Fragile, Lean, Lightly Muscled, Small Shouldered, Takes Longer to Gain Muscle, & Thin Mesomorph - Athletic, Hard Body, Hourglass Shaped (Female), Rectangular Shaped (Male), Mature Muscle Mass, Muscular Body, Excellent Posture, Gains Muscle Easily, Gains Fat More Easily Than Ectomorphs, & Thick Skin Endomorph - Soft Body, Underdeveloped Muscles, Round Physique Weight Loss is Difficult, & Gains Muscle Easily Like the Mesomorph After you figure out what type body you have I would go to a BMI calculator & enter in your height and weight. Play around with it (enter in different pounds) to see what weight would be best for your body type...where you look healthy & fit. :) Here is a link to a BMI calculator:

If you want to know what weight is healthy for your height, check your body mass index. You can find it by typing in BMI calculator in a search engine (like Google). You put in your height and weight and it tells you what your ideal weight range is to be healthiest. Personally I think it could be dangerous for you to lose more than a few pounds. You sound like you are thin already, so try to be happy with yourself as you are :)

Thanks. =] Yeah, I hope I do. Whenever she gets a new hair color or style I always bring in a picture to my hair stylist. Well I didn't go brunette but I got her new caramel highlights and I got my bangs cut like hers. I also got her bob when she had one. It was soo cute.

I'm 5'8" and like 117 pounds. =] I do the eliptical every day and go to Starbucks for lunch. That keeps me skinny.

I'm 5'7" and over the past 6 years or so I've varied from 117 lbs. to 123 lbs. I'm at about 120 right now. I don't want to lose weight, per se, but I DO want to lose fat/appear leaner. When you say you want to lose 10-15 lbs do you mean actually lose that weight or just look thinner? I think actually losing it would be unhealthy given you current weight, but transforming the appearance of those pounds could make you feel a whole lot better. If you don't want to be muscular, only do cardio; that should help you shed some 'extra' baggage.

I'm 5'7" (and a half!) and my weight is around 125 lbs. I work out, and I feel pretty and healthy. I also have a gorgeous boyfriend, who apparently thinks this weight works for me too! :) But then again, this is all relative to who you are. My sister is 5'9" and she is trying to lose a little weight and be 125. She hates working out. Even though she's nearing my weight and she's taller, I look much skinnier because a lot of my weight comes from muscle. Wanting to lose 10 lbs when you're 121 lbs. seems like being a little too skinny. But, I don't know your build at all so you will just have to feel it out and report the results! Good luck! :)

I work out daily too but I dont wanna be muscular

I have a muscular, sporty build and I am 5' 8. I think 135 is the perfect weight for myself. I would say 128 to 132 for someone 5' 7".

I'm 5ft6 and I weigh 122lbs!!I'm muscular, and I do Work Out Daily!!

theres no way to really depends how much water you drink, how much you work out, ho wmuch muscle, what you eat, etc., etc. I'm 5'9", and I weigh 130, but I know some people who are my height and weigh 150 and are still completely healthy.

Then you probably just have a bigger build than sunkist.. it really just depends on how you feel i guess.. :)

I'm 5'7" and I feel best at around 125-130... any less than that and I feel a bit too thin...any more than that and I definitely feel too heavy... but take into consideration that my frame is small..small ankles and wrists. If I was on a heavier frame, I might be able to handle a few more pounds!

Um.. Im 5'6 and i weigh 51kg.. i dont think thats too fat or too skinny.. but since ur taller u should weigh a lil more Hey, this is just my opinion.. Like glam sugar said, it depends a lot of ur build.
glam-sugar glam-sugar 9 years
It depends on your build, if you're muscular and athletic for example, you'll weigh more since muscle has a higher density than fat.
