I had completely flaked on the fact that it's commencement season — that's what happens when you grown up — until I saw that PartySugar is planning a Graduation Celebration [1]. So I decided to put together a Playlist [1] of slightly-but-not-too sappy songs for the occasion.

Graduation ceremonies themselves may be terribly dull, but everyone can appreciate the sentiments: the optimism of youth, the nervous excitement of change, and the thrill of striking out on your own.
