The turkey tastes better than it looks! But this is what happens when you don't have a thermometer to check the temperature of the oil. Also, just for the record I took absolutely no part in cooking this turkey! Everything else was divine from Brussels sprouts with pancetta, pumpkin leek soup, homemade bread, and pecan sweet potatoes!
