Viola Davis Claims She "Always Feels Like a Loser," Convinces Literally No One

Of all the far-fetched things to believe about Emmy-winning actress and earthbound goddess Viola Davis, the thought of her classifying herself as a "loser" is definitely high up on the list. Still, the How to Get Away With Murder star told Stephen Colbert on The Late Show on Wednesday night that despite her historic success, an embarrassing (but pretty adorable) childhood memory of losing a beauty pageant keeps her from feeling 100 percent. "In my brain, I always feel like a loser. So when I win something, I'm like, 'This is great!'" At least we can take solace in the fact that Viola has the cutest number-one fan in history.
