The hustle of the holidays is over, and it's time to ring in the new year with a little pampering. Allure recommends three at-home spa treatments that will revive you after some serious hosting, drinking, eating, and partying.

Hair: Dry Winter air (and even dryer indoor heating!) can leave hair parched and brittle. To restore moisture, try a thick, oil-based hair mask, like Shu Uemura Moisture Velvet Nourishing Treatment ($68) or Miss Jessie's Rapid Recovery Treatment ($9-$48). Comb a generous dollop through dry strands, pile hair into a lose bun on the top of your head, and cover with a shower cap. Blast it with a blow dryer for a few seconds (the heat helps oils penetrate), let it sit for at least 10 minutes, and then rinse and shampoo.


Face: Lizard-like skin is a sign you need to exfoliate and moisturize — stat. Start with a peel (my new favorite is Olive Essence Organic Gold Facial Peel ($30, originally $90) that uses lemon peel oil to slough away dull, dead skin, and then slather on a rich cream formulated with hyaluronic acid, like AmorePacific Moisture Bound Rejuvenating Créme ($150). When I say slather, I'm serious — you want a nice thick layer of moisture over your entire face. Let it sit for about 30 minutes, and then blot off the excess with a tissue.

Feet: After hours of dancing to Mariah Carey's holiday album — in four-inch heels — your tired feet will need some serious pampering. Start with a soak. My favorite is Jane Inc. Muscle Ache Rx Bath Cube ($7) — the Epsom salts soothe sore feet while warming cardamom, cinnamon, and clove oils improve circulation. Then slather on a thick cream (I love the lavender-scented Sally Hansen Foot Cream, $7), slip your tootsies into a pair of cozy socks, and put them up. That's right: sit back and relax.
