In less than 60 seconds, the stylists re-create all the classics, like Billie Holiday's floral updo, Diana Ross's bouffant, and the box braids of the '90s. It all culminates in the resurgence of the hottest mane trend of the 1970s — the Afro — in 2010. Clearly it's no coincidence that Madame C.J. Walker, the first American woman to become a millionaire through self-made business, was a woman of color working in the hair care industry.
