Our first beauty role models were the Disney princesses, but as we've gotten older, we've realized how unreasonable it is to hold ourselves to those standards. Not only are they drawn to look perfectly wide eyed and clear complected, but they are also frozen in time. Just like Barbie [1], they will never get a gray hair [2] or need antiaging treatments [3]. But thanks to the imagination of artist Isaque Arêas, we get to see what the princesses would actually look like IRL.

On his Facebook page [4], Areas shared illustrations of the girls and their dramatic makeovers. Using the age of each woman at the time of their movie, the year it was released, and the year 2015, he was able to make them look more realistic. We have to say, Snow White looks pretty fantastic for 92 years old! Keep reading to see more true-to-life princesses.
