Amid the chaos of backstage, the models at Alice + Olivia arose with a simple and sweet beauty look that anyone could try out at home. "We're creating the all-American girl," said makeup artist Sarah Lucero with Stila. "It's a very neutral palette with pops of pastel." She focused on a coral flush, using two different Stila Convertible Colors ($25 each): Lillium on the cheeks and Gerbera on the lips. Sheer white shadow made the eyes pop.
Nick Irwin for Tigi kept with the youthful vibe, creating a simple, slicked-back chignon to coordinate with the clothing. "It's preppy meets pretty," he explained. "There's a low side part with hair covering one ear, and we're just securing the hair with an elastic at the nape of the neck and twisting it into a chignon." He used Catwalk Shine Spray ($20) to smooth down the hair and control flyaways.
Finally, the nail art was designed by Vanity Projects. The tips featured a nude shade as the base with an inverted moon in pale pink.
