I have extensions, & i love them! i wear them all the time. They are easy to wear && easy to put in trust me. And if your having trouble woth them falling out, i had this. You just pin the section up of hair like you normally would before you clip them in, then hair spray right round the root of your hair. then back comb your hair .. keeps them in really tight. Hope that helped <3

Am I missing something in regard to the clip-in extentions? They look like small combs that'll just slip out if pulled on, or if gravity has its way with slippery hair. How are they supposed to stay in? Especially if your hair texture is very smooth and fine? I've always wanted to try them, but I really wonder about the staying power.

in response to some of ur questions: i unfortunately don't remember the channel or title of the particular show that i had watched. but in a 1 second search on google i found alot of articles that discuss the exploitation of women and children in the "hair trade". there's one for example.

I think hair extensions are disgusting, would you wear someone elses finger nails, they're made of the same thing. I agree with burke_chis comment. I read an article about how a company went around orphanges in India and shaved off the childrens hair and gave them a sweet in return.

i spent more for mine but i never wear them because they always slip out. Anyone have any advice of how to keep them in? (while still being able to move dance etc)

I don't think I would be able to work something like this.

Burke_chi - do you have a link or something so I can read more about that process? It sounds very interesting, and I wonder what companies buy that hair.

i am concerned about the low price. i recently saw a documentary about human hair used for wigs and extensions and was utterly shocked when it was revealed that hair is cut from poor women and children who make annual pilgrimages in the middle east (or asia - i cannot recall the specific country) to have their hair cut in a lake by priests for religious purposes. they are dirt poor and actually have to pay a fee to have their hair cut. this hair is then sold to companies for cosmetic purposes who charge consumers an arm and a leg for the finished product, whilst the poor ppl who provided the hair get NOTHING. THINK TWICE BEFORE BYING HAIR!! (and do some background research :)

When my hair was much shorter I had clip in extensions. I loved them. I got mine from but they were super $$$$.

Ugh... not for me. I'm happy with my own hair - and the thought of wearing someone else's hair is just a bit creepy.

Wow... This isn't new either; there were infomercials about a product exactly like this a few years ago. I wonder if that company sold out, or if they'll sue American Dream for it. You can also just buy a pack of human hair wefts for about $20, cut them to size, and sew your own clips to it (they're about $0.99 for a pack of 3-4).
