Angelina Jolie's Makeup at the 2009 Golden Globes

How-To: Angelina's Makeup at the Golden Globe Awards

Last night, Angelina Jolie stepped out in a devastating Versace gown and a dazzling smile. Although some of you say you'd like to see Angelina change her look from time to time, the same people admit that she doesn't really have a reason to do so — because she always looks gorgeous on the red carpet.

Makeup artist Mary Burton, working with Lancôme, created last night's look for Angelina. To find out how to recreate it at home,

.

  • Face: Apply foundation and concealer where necessary. Use your fingers to dab Lancôme Color Design Blush in Model Mocha on the apples of cheeks.
  • Eyes: Use a pen eyeliner such as Lancôme Artliner in Noir to define the lash line. Start at the inner corner of the eye, staying close to the lashes, and blend outward. (If you've never used a pen eyeliner, keep the line straight by drawing a series of dots, then connecting them.) Line the outer corner of the lower lash line, too, gently smudging it. Burton used two mascaras — Courbe Virtuôse and Oscillation — to give Angelina's lashes volume and length.
  • Lips: Angelina's famous lips took center stage with a pale pink, sheer gloss. Burton used Lancôme Juicy Tubes in Spring Fling.

yeah it may such a simple look that many may not see the use of posting a how-to, but I think it's useful to get detailed information about the colors and products that were used. thanks!

I don't think this look needs a how-to, either, Amesabelle. It's always the same! And very low-maintenance. Yes, she's gorgeous. But I'm so bored of seeing her look the same all the time.

Thick black eyeliner? Check. False eyelashes? Check. Her "red carpet look" doesn't really need a how-to post.

I think the impact of this is less about her makeup (which is pretty simple) and more about the fact that's she's stunningly beautiful anyway :)

I'm always a big fan of Angelina's dramatic red carpet eye makeup, and her lipcolor here is prettier than the stark nude she wears a lot of the time.
