Beauty Flashback: Hair Wiz

Commercials used to be so quaint and straightforward, as evidenced by this 1974 commercial for Hair Wiz. An earnest salesman extols the virtues of this "precision cutting tool" while mom defuzzes the males of her family. Apparently filmed on location at the Brady Bunch kitchen, this spot gets me giggling every time. Why trust your hair to a cheap hair gadget, indeed.

"Why trust your hair styles to a cheap gadget? so this is an expensive gadget?" Well, you have to figure in for inflation...$2.98 in 1974 was like $200 today...LOL!!
