Beauty Product Junkies Picks: the Best Moisturizers

In addition to my weekly Beauty Mark It challenges — don't forget this week's foundation stick challenge — the Beauty Product Junkies group on TeamSugar hosts its own weekly Beauty Marking challenges, complete with great write-ups by the users. So from time to time, I'll be scouring the BPJ picks and featuring my favorites here.

For last week's challenge, the Junkies went hunting for their body moisturizers. You can see the highlights here and here, and I've chosen my favorites from the moisturizer challenge below. Now you have no excuse for dry skin.

Beauty Mark #1: Eucerin Original Moisturizing Lotion ($10.14), found by Colormesticky.

Beauty Mark #2: The Body Shop Mango Body Butter ($17.50), found by CocoChic.

Two more moisturizers, so

Beauty Mark #3: Skin Milk Body Lotion ($4.49), found by Atoxicsparkle.

Beauty Mark #4: Kiss My Face Filthy Rich Organic Moisturizer ($10), found by Musewings.

If you haven't discovered 'Made from Earth' yet, their "Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer" cream is marvelous. It's worth every penny - a jar will last you forever since there's no water in it, it's a very concentrated and rich emulsion of natural ingredients. it heals uncomfortable dry patches anywhere on your body, it softens cuticles, it makes a great eye cream when my eyes are irritated by allergies. It is a little rich and heavy for a regular face moisturizer for me (my skin is normal although it's a little dry in the winter), although from time to time if my face is feeling tight I will dab on a little at night.

this is a surprise but i just bought the vaseline cocoa butter lotion at the drug store and i love it. it smells amazing and is super moisturizing but light at the same time. i usually spend a fortune on lotions and potions but this comes in a huge bottle and is like 6$!

i have tried eucerin but that doesn't work that good on me. i have extremely dry skin because of eczema and Cetaphil works the best on me. it's fragrance free too.

thanks..i agree Eucerin is really good for dry skin..i've started using Eucerin's Calming Creme because it's made from oatmeal and it really moisturizes dry skin. And it doesn't leave a sticky feeling. I also know Eucerin is usually recommended by Dermatologists for dry skin. My mom uses the Skim Milk Body Lotion, at first I was a bit skeptacle about it. But she mentioned that when she used it, it would leave her skin feeling soft all day long. I think it's starting to become more popular now..Glad to hear these moisturizers are good.

My fave moisturizing product: Alba Botanica's Very Emollient Body Lotion. Helps keep me moisturized all day and doesn't have any overwhelming smells.
