Sharp Ponytails and Bold Brows Are Bottega Veneta's Fall Calling Card
If you're looking for the perfect take on the "no makeup" look, the Bottega Veneta Fall 2014 runway would be an excellent place to start. Models showed off flawless skin, artful contouring, and some of the boldest brows of the season, all achieved using a totally neutral palette. Shades of brown and beige added definition around the crease of the eye, giving a subtle smoky effect. The hollows of the cheeks were sculpted with matte powder and just the tiniest flush of pink. Lips benefited from nothing but a swipe of lip balm.
As for the hair, it was swept back with gel into a supersharp wet-look ponytail. It was a look that meant business, even if the dresses that dominated the second half of the show were more suitable for cocktails.
