The resurgence of permed (or perm-inspired) hair has taken over 2018 so far, and we couldn't be happier to see celebrities rock the look. We first saw Jennifer Lawrence step out on the Oscars red carpet [1] with tight blonde waves, then Blake Lively made us fall in love with her hair [2] even more than we thought was possible with a coiled 'do. Now the perm renaissance has moved across the ocean with Daisy Ridley opting for retro-style corkscrew curls, and we think it's one of her best looks yet. (Although we did like her blonde locks [3], too).

Judging from hairstylist James Brown's Instagram photo [4] of Daisy's look, he used Babyliss products to create the style (rather than an actual perming lotion). We suspect he reached for the Babyliss Tight Curls Wand [5] ($40) to create the corkscrew coils. Pair this with a smoky eye by the one and only Lisa Eldridge [6], and it's by far one of our favorite looks of the year so far.
