Does Your Sense of Smell Change Over the Course of the Month?

I find that, depending on the time of the month, the same scents can smell utterly different to me, and definitely very different when I'm wearing them. I'm sure hormones are somehow to blame, but am I alone on this one? Or is your sense of smell affected by your cycle as well? And for you ladies on the pill — do you still notice a change?

I don't have a sense of smell most of the year. Although my husband says that he can tell when my period is coming - my natural body scent changes right before my period comes even though I'm on the pill.

I'm on the pill continuously and i don't notice a change at all. Idk maybe it's because i dont stop for a week even so my hormones don't fluctuate. But my sense of smell and taste is always pretty strong, i have a big nose, it comes in handy lol.

Usually on the first day of my period - if I've chopped an onion, the smell on my fingers hours later can make me badly nauseous.

I'm on the pill and I still notice a change. Although I also notice a change in the way things taste. So sometimes for about 2-3 days out of a month I can't eat my favorite foods because they taste weird. Maybe I'm just super sensitive.
