Doo.Ri's Runway Hair Is Long and Lean, Like the Clothes

Doo.Ri's Fall 2011 collection is long and lean, with a beauty look to match. For details on this sleek and sophisticated style, keep reading.

Hair: "The hair is inspired by the silhouette of the clothes," explained lead stylist Orlando Pita. To create the long, sleek style, Pita applied clip-in bangs to models, then straightened their natural hair with a flat iron. To keep every hair in place, he sprayed Spirulina by Byron hair spray all over.

Makeup: Lead artist Tom Pecheux's longtime collaboration with Doo-Ri Chung continued into this season. "It's sophisticated but kind of grungy at the same time," he said of the muted makeup look. "But at the end of the day, it doesn't feel overly grunge." He created the subtly shimmering eye makeup by applying MAC eye shadow in Lady Gray, a grayish green, along the lower lash lines. On the eyelids, models wore MAC eye shadow in Keep Your Cool, a brownish gray with slight shimmer. White pencil along the lash line drew attention to the eyes, and no mascara was used. Lips were made uniform by applying foundation, then topping them with MAC Viva Glam lipstick.
